A single cat owner, the journalist Andrea Atzori,

National Knight of Feline Values ​​Award 2016,
Recognition issued by the Academy of Magical Cats of Fiesole (Tuscany),

takes care of the 26 cats (16 free, 7 in cages and three at home) 24 hours a day. He takes them to and from the vet for every need, covering 52 kilometers on each occasion, feeding them twice every day.
Guided tours are very few, 

                            one a month

must be booked at least three months in advance.

Guided tours are fully booked until December 2024.

If you have not made an appointment, it is completely useless to expect to have a guided tour.
The guided tour is free, food for the cats is welcome, to be delivered to the cat owner Andrea.


As an alternative to the guided tour, you can watch the cats’ evening meals, which take place outside the private property, or cuddle the cats in the area in front of the Oasis, outside the private property, by communicating your presence on Andrea’s number with a Whatsapp message.

THE HISTORY OF THE OASIS
This is not an earthly paradise.
The cat owner of this Oasis, for his love of cats, has suffered a real war. Acts of intimidation (with rocks thrown at the body and damage to the structure, a trial in court (from which he was acquitted of charges of land invasions and soiling and the municipality tried to chase away the cats and relocate them (the resolution was sensationally canceled by the Head of State for excess of power).

HOW CAN YOU HELP THE CATS OF SU PALLOSU?

As you will have understood, not only have we never had any public help, but they have also tried to hinder us with violence.

VOLUNTEER FOR SU PALLOSU CATS ?

We combine two objectives: knowing the territory or a reality for those hosted and having an extra hand in an animal welfare activity, which has become a tourist attraction, which is increasingly challenging for those hosting.

We offer a person food and family accommodation for a short period (maximum 7 days, possibly renewable) in exchange for collaboration in the management of the Oasis for:

– care and cuddles of the 26 cats;
-tell about your experience at Su Pallosu moment by moment on social media;

– organization of guided tours.

Is required:

-love for animals;

-ability to entertain visitors, including foreign ones

-adaptability to country life and spartan accommodation.

Preferably between the ages of 20 and 55.

In case of interest we also offer tourist tours and trekking in the local area for volunteers.
